Actor signs up to support campaign

Earlier today, Robert Lindsay, BAFTA-award winning actor, signed the petition to say 'NO' to the closure of Ilkeston Family Practice and GP Walk In Centre.
Despite a busy schedule, he took time out to add his name to the petition, commenting:
"Ilkeston is my home town of which I have very fond memories. I have watched over the years the town suffer with cut backs and its status slowly decline, most notably when its railway station was taken away but this...is the last straw! The NHS walk-in centre should not be closed..."

Mr Lindsay is one of more than 1,000 people to sign the petition, which is being run online and through paper copies around the region.
